Is everything really vegan and gluten-free?

Everything. Always. Every single thing we bake is vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, seed oil-free, and soy-free. We bake with extra virgin olive oil, almond, coconut, maple, and adaptogens. TLB was built this way from day one… it's not an alternative, it's the standard.

What about seed oils?

We don't use them. Every TLB recipe is made with cold-pressed, single-origin extra virgin olive oil. No canola, no vegetable oil, no soybean oil. We chose olive oil because it's what we'd actually want to eat, and it happens to make everything taste better.

Are your baked goods good for breakfast?

They were made for it. Designed to be the thing that gets you out of bed. Nutrients, adaptogens, and grounding.

Do you do custom orders?

We do. Every custom order starts with a consultation — you tell us the occasion, we handle the rest. Custom orders start at $240 with a minimum 10-day lead time.

Do you offer catering?

Yes. we cater events of all sizes. Every catering order is by consultation so we can tailor it to your occasion. Fill out the form to get started.

Do you ship?

We ship flatcakes anywhere in New York State. Orders close Sunday at 5pm EST and ship on Tuesdays. Shipping is complimentary.

How do I order?

Three ways. Pick up on the Lower East Side, delivery in Manhattan through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Caviar, Postmates, or Seamless, or ship flatcakes anywhere in New York State. All orders are placed online. we recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance.

Do you use refined sugar?

Never. We sweeten with maple and coconut sap — nothing refined, nothing artificial. You taste the ingredients, not the sweetener.
