i'm erica.
TLB started as a question: what if a baked good could feel like art? not look like it. feel like it. and it should make you feel like that art. and then i just kept asking it. louder every time. with chocolate chip banana. with cacao flatcakes. with custom cakes that take over entire tables.
i'm still asking it, honestly. that's kind of the whole thing. curiosity is the ingredient i never run out of. every batch is a chance to get it a little more right — and "right" keeps moving, which is fine, which is the point.
for the woman who sets a beautiful table even when no one's coming over. for the breakfast that sets the tone and the celebration that gets remembered.
the recipes were built around wellness from the start — adaptogenic ingredients included. the fact that they're vegan and gluten-free — that was just what happened when i refused to compromise on ingredients. the refined sugar and seed oils though? those were never an option. non-negotiable, always.
