what is the love bakery?
tthe love bakery makes cakes in new york. one person designs each one, bakes it by hand, and delivers it in manhattan and brooklyn.

what do you make?
one cake at a time. each serves around ten and starts at $975. members see the current one, with its price, on their member page.

what will the next cake be?
whatever she is drawn to next. for a cake made for your own occasion, request a commission.

two. membership.

what is membership?
membership is how you reserve the latest cake.

is there a fee to be a member?
no. you pay only for the cakes you reserve.

how does reserving work?
the latest cake is on your member page with its delivery dates. choose a thursday at least two weeks out and check out. every member who reserves gets their own cake.

how do i become a member?
request access on the home page. every request is reviewed, and you’ll hear back by email either way.

three. commissions.

can i have a cake made for a specific date?
yes. that is a commission. it starts at $3,000 for a table of twenty and needs two weeks’ notice. request one on the commissions page. it is delivered by hand on the date we agree.

four. delivery.

where do you deliver?
manhattan and brooklyn, by hand, included in the price. member cakes arrive on thursdays between 1 and 5pm. commissions arrive on the date we agree. someone should be there to receive it, or send delivery instructions to made@thelovebakery.nyc.

are reservations final?
yes. all sales are final.

what about allergies?
each cake is made in a home kitchen with wheat, eggs, dairy, tree nuts, and peanuts, and may come into contact with any allergen.
